For those who have gone up recently, are the ponds/lakes near Trail Camp frozen or is it possible to get water from them? If they are frozen/snow covered, where is the highest water source currently accessible?

Due to some firewall settings, I am unable to see any recent posted photos on flickr, etc from my PC here :-(

Thanks in advance!

Last weekend:

- any of the usual spots from Mirror Lake down.
- there were a few trickles from the slabs near Trail Camp in the afternoon.
- I'm guessing you would have seen the same near Trailside Meadow.
- I'm guessing you could get water from near the inlet to Trail Camp Pond in the afternoon.

I just tank up at the spring at Bighorn Park on the way up and down, but did notice places higher to get water if I had been desperate.

I was at Trail Camp for the last three days and had plenty of water, even after a cold windy night at 20 degrees...nothing a good kick won't fix.

Don't know whether I just didn't notice last week, but TC Pond is melted out in quite a few spots. I'd treat it before use though.

I'd say that water is easily available from Trail Camp down now.
