Not really. It was a couple of his Deputies.

Apparently, they are enforcing the Road Closed.

No citation. Just a warning to head down.

Bummer. That adds a lot of walking when the road is nearly dry up to the lowest Campground gate.

So, here are a few photos for a TR that I would title "Bored To Tears."

No Wildflowers to speak of... kicked off of the mountain by some Deputies...

Spindrift off of LPP.

Switchback Number 97.

A rediculously dry Couloir on the MR.

At least the view was nice as I got skunked while Wildflower Hunting.

Thanks for the update, Richard. After seeing your photo of the couloir above Iceberg Lake, I'm starting to think that the Main Trail might be the better route after all.

The TR may be named Bored to Tears but not boring at all to look at. Really nice photos Richard.

I might suggest they are patrolling the road since some people evidently don't know where to park and their windows get crushed by falling boulders. Nice pix. I really wish I could afford that camera ....
