Nathan, I went up last weekend. I took the risk of not bringing crampons or an ice axe. This was a mistake.I got up the Pass barely, but the melt made the decent extremely dangerous.I was very appreciative that someone who wore crampons loaned me their axe on the way down. As someone who is generally very confident, it actually scared me. However, once you get up the pass, I dont think I saw any snow
