Hi Just got a call to post a message about a 67 year old male 6'2" ,175 pounds , his name is John Williams . He entered the backcounrty at Bishop pass and was to be out on the 23 Sept. He would have traveled some on the JMT and in the Dusy Basin area, Le Conte caynon, and Simpson Meadow, Crown Valley and Blue canyon, Last sighting he was wearing Orange Inyo County S&R Jacket , blue stocking cap and a blue backpack. He has grey hair and brown eyes.

Some of the hikers exiting Whitney doing the JMT may have passed him or talked with him.

Please post this on any local board that would have a chance to get this information out . Thanks Doug

Please call the dispatch at SeKi Park 559 565-3195 OR 559 565-3762 if you have any information

The body betrays and the weather conspires, hopefully, not on the same day.

This is now confirmed. He walked out last night and is well.

Many thanks to everyone for their help and concern!
