Mt. Whitney Portal Store & Hostel Forums General Mt. Whitney Portal Store Message Board Looking for a MWT day hike partner(s)

I am looking for a partner(s) to day hike MWT August 25th - 31st, 2011. I do not have a permit but plan to call in advance and to get a permit (it’s what I did last year in mid-August).
Last year I did it with my son – we hiked to the top and on a way back spent a night at the Trail Camp. This year I want to do a day trip but do not want to do it solo.
