My wife, 14 yr old daughter, and I are headed out on a day trip tomorrow (7/26). Anybody have tips on how the temperatures and weather have been at the summit recently? We're planning on layering up, but I'm wondering if it's particulary chilly or windy on top that would require a little extra.
I read there's a 7 year old boy and his father climbing tomorrow - look forward to seeing them and all other climbers tomorrow! We're likely to start around 2:30.
Summitted yesterday, 7/24. Very comfortable temperatures. The most I wore at the summit on top was a thin longsleaved base layer and a lightweight water proof breathable shell. Zip off pants, no long underwear. Did not use any of my warmer gear from Trail Camp to the summit.
