Do I remember correctly that it is almost impossible to stake down a tent at High Camp because of the rocky granite? Can I expect to get a stake into the ground? What do you think of these (http://www.bigagnes.com/Products/Detail/Accessory/BlowdownTentAnchor) for my Big Agnes tent? What's the story with staking tents at High Camp? Thanks! Larry

You can stake at Trail Camp. If you have a corner or two where you don't have access to dirt, there is no shortage of massive rocks that will do as well ;-)

Yup, when I was there last year, I used a combination of staking and wrapping guy lines around big rocks. Worked fine, even when it was windy.
