Anybody have any info on Kearsarge Pass trail conditions as of 6/21? I figured with it being on the south slopes it might be melting off faster.....
Thanks

not my report, but her recent one includes Kearsarge

Kearsarge pass (June 15) - wasn't too bad going west to east but lots of deep snow on the upper parts of the eastside. We will have to slog up this stuff tomorrow. It will not be fun. West side, lower 2 thirds of trail under snow. East side, upper 1 third under deep snow. Lower 2 thirds on eastside mostly clear with patchy snow and water runoff on trail

Snownymph made it up a week and a half ago from Onion Valley with only trekking poles, although she wouldn't have minded having her Kahtoola Stabilicers with her. She's 4'11 and encountered a few areas of almost hip-deep snow. West side looked like pretty good snow coverage from her pics.

If anyone does Kearsarge Pass this weekend, could you please post updates? I'd like to do a dayhike all the way to Lake Charlotte, but don't want to posthole or deal with a lot of lingering snow. Thanks.

Good morning.....attempted Kearsarge Saturday. Some snow fields from Little Pothole on, with 100% snow coverage above Flower Lake (10,800 foot level). We ran out of time and had to come back, met quite a few people coming over from the west side. Most had crampons, although some said it's doable without.
