The San Gorgonio area was awesome last weekend. We started at South Fork.

www.sgwa.org

The snow past Poop Out Hill isn't going anywhere for a while. From the trailhead to POH, it was starting to get a bit soft later in the day. I expect that by now, a decent trail has been laid to Slushy Meadows.

It's a great area. Next best thing to the Sierras. Have fun!

Here are some photos from last Sunday.
The SGWA has trail mileages here , but keep in mind that the winter routes don't always comply with the established trail. Lotsa snow back there--have fun!

But Yeti is off for a week till his toe heals.
Sooo....San G is open! No Yeti protecting its gates!

Be nice Carole!
Yeti's have been known to formulate crazy revenge plots...like scaring unsuspecting camp mates in the middle of the night.

Remember, you need a wilderness permit beyond the overlook.
Rangers patrol there regularly.
