What a difference a couple of days make in the mountains! Ranger Bob and I went up Thor on Monday a couple of days after some other folks. We didn't take crampons and didn't need them. The snow was nice and soft in the afternoon. Rock was a little slick here and there. The day started out clear and then the clouds came in with some minor precip. Still had a great time!

Thanks for the updated photos. It looks like the "north" facing slopes are slow to melt, but it's obvious that the slopes facing the sun melted out a lot in the couple of days between our ascent and yours.
