Can someone advise me if there is long term parking (30 days +-) available at Whitney Portal. I plan on doing the JMT next summer and would like to have a car available at the finish. If not, can you suggest a good alternative. Thank you.
When I did the JMT in 2008. I parked a car for 24 days at the portal. We parked off the side of the road in the dirt. Make sure you clean your car of anything that smells. It is a great trip, Happy Hiking!
