Hello Everyone,

Leaving today at 3:30 from LA to stay at the hostile tonight and then start out for the summit tomorrow. The weather reports are changing minutely so was wondering if anyone close can tell me if we will need cramps and axes. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

i would personally carry the ice axe. there are a lot of slow people on that trail that would not budge or step aside to let you pass. the ice axe becomes useful at that point. good luck!
