Same old thing...Parked at the bottom of Lubken Canyon Road and rode the e-bike up as far as possible...this time about 6/10 of mile closer to the Cottonwood Pass Trailhead.
There was some type of cycling event going on up to the Ranch...many other cyclist were riding HM Rd...
I straight-lined it (as much as possible) towards Cottonwood Pass...there were ski tracks all the way up...snow conditions are still good for booting it, with a bit of postholing later in the day.
I stopped about 170' short of the pass...it was almost 3pm and I had no gear...there is a cornice at the Pass...
