Apparently a parking permit is needed to park at the Whitney portal.
Can anyone tell me where and how to get such a permit?
Planning an overnight hike and want to avoid scrambling to find out when arriving.

No parking permit needed,day use parking by waterfall but all other lots are open for overnight parking and if the lots are full parking along the road
