DWP working 7 days a week...

Foothill Road Closed to keep people out of their way...

Seems the "new" road I saw is a FS road that I guess I've never paid attention to. I do want to ride it to see where it ends.

Alternate was to ride up Onion Valley Road...amazing how many people figured out how to drive/ride around the Front Loader blocking the road at the Road Closed sign.

Only people who made it higher than me were on foot...

Here are some photos from up there...BTW, my guess is maybe 4th of July for the campground opening...

Could have ridden just a little bit farther up the road...this is about 1/2 mile away from the Trailhead...

The Kearsarge Pass Trailhead...

The Campground Entrance...

Looking down at Onion Valley Trailhead from a few hundred yards "up" the trail...

Looking down valley from just below the Onion Valley Trailhead...

Another look up canyon...

Yeah, there was a LOT of snow up here...

Richard....you need to go work for the Inyo County Department of Roads as an Information Spokeperson (Officer).

You're made for the job.

Working again would get in the way of having fun...besides, I'm too much of a Grumpy Old Man to be any kind of Spokesperson...thanks.
