We popped in to the Hostel for showers before driving home last weekend, and spent the best $5 EVAH!! What a cute little place! For $5, you get a/c, soap, towel, and HOT WATER. Wonderful! The only room for improvement we could think of would be a bench in the bathroom, to sit on while we put on our shoes. Otherwise, perfect!!

I have the same question. And long ago there were showers at the Portal. I was wondering if they're still operating or did they quit doing that at WP?

No showers at the portal itself - just at the Hostel.
