Hostel bookings

Hi,

I’m planning on hiking Mt. Whitney September 16 and I’m looking for accommodations September 15-17.

Shared accommodations in the hostel are unavailable due to covid according to the website, will this still be the case come September? Just trying to travel on a budget and don’t want to camp unless I have to.
